portfolio / Appcues

I joined Appcues as an intern back in 2014 before the founder had funding or hired the first employee. I learned a lot of the ropes of software engineering in the real world, as well as what its like begin a startup.

In 2016, I returned to since-funded Appcues for my second 6-month co-op. The team had grown from 2 to 15 people and was on a mission for growth and engineering refinement.

My 2016 co-op focused mostly on microservice development using Amazon Lambda, Chrome extension development on the company’s content builder in React, and API development in elixir.
